John, good song although i don't like to much folk songs, i like jolly songs i know sea shanties are sometimes of a disaster there are good songs and bad songs and depends who is singing what, i like to listen to Working men Choirs and of cause the Welsh choirs the best in the business and a good Brass Band too.Regards Doris

avatar A very moving tribute to a very sad time in Lancashire's History. The lyrics and tune paint a very vivid picture of the conditions these men and young boys had to endure, well sung and filmed. Congratulations to all concerned.
regards Wallace.
