As you may know I was on BBC RADIO LANCASHIRE this week talking to JOHN GILLY GILMORE about LRU  which by the way has gained us 20 new members . Seeing GILLY and heating his dulset tones reminded me of the early 1980s when a radio station become the first independent one to be set up in Lancashire . From a converted church in Preston RED ROSE RADIO was born . Those where the days when I had to pay to have streaks put in my hair the days when (Did we really wear pink jumpers and shirts. Now I remember one or two of the presenters GILLY ,DAVE SWANTON but more escape me .....can you help me out . .And seeing after finding this old poster of JOHN GILMORE some thing eles struck me ---DID ALL US LADS  IN THE 80s HAVE THEM DAFT TASHES (I did)
