Many years ago when I wer a lad back in BACUP when helping dad on his wagon I used to wear a pair of BLUE LANCASHIRE CLOGS . I remember clear as day gaining the art of SPARKIN UM . Clogs they say are the best things to wear on your feet . I wonder if any of our members know what the history of the LANCASHIRE CLOG is . Anyroad I have come across this video of the LANCASHIRE WALLOPERS to add a little more LANCASHIRENESS to the site film of other troops would be welcome
John, the clog dancing, immigrants they it took over to America, if you watch any old time folk and Country Hilly Billy, you will see the clog Dancing there. Regards Doris C
