I went into Burnley the other day and took a few more pics to add to the BURNLEY PHOTO GALLERY . As Burnley Fc are about to engage on a major £20 million development at Turf Moor I thought I would take some of the ground before things start to change .
Now I vaguely remember that as a young lad I last stood on the terraces of this ground at the age of around 6 with my dad and grandad trying to turn me into a claret fan (What would grandad think of me now ---a Rovers fan ).
As I stood outside the ground sommert struck me as I looked at the shiny new advertising hoardings placed on the walls .We now live in an age where it seems to me that CORPERATE fans mean more to clubs than REAL fans pictures of YUPPIES enjoying fancy foods and fine wine spending hundreds of pounds seem more important than the DADS LITTLE JOHNNY and GRANDAD.I wonder if these posh folks will remember there meals when they grow older as I remember the excitement of Going to Turf moor and having a PIE and a BOVRIL
