As a child growing up in Rossendale before moving to Barrow in 1967 I would be treated to a train ride along the line from Bacup to Bury and onto Manchester . I can now take that journey again as I have found some rare footage on U-TUBE .I wounder if our ex Rossendale members can remember the line and the buildings you pass -This film is part 1 the other parts 2,3 & 4 can be veiwed on U-TUBE
