Old town Markets Print E-mail
Thursday, 03 January 2008
We all have memories of our days living in the towns  we once called home . I will always remember as a young boy going to town in Barrow with our mam and visiting the old Barrow market situated behind or at the front of the town hall . . Now I will always remember on the cold winter days being treated to a hot vimto in the old café there or on other occasions  getting a real treat with 2 onces of prawns . What  do you remember about your town markets ,can you recall any characters . Take a look at this video of the old market at LANCASTER and the poem that is sure to stir memories of your old market,
With grateful thanks to Lawrance for allowing the use of the video after getting in touch after seeing my Lancaster Gallery on --U-TUBE .
