Stacksteads Video NOW ADDED To the VIDEO VAULT Print E-mail
Saturday, 03 November 2007

logo Since I was up at a stupidly early hour this morning I decided to upload the video of my birthplace STACKSTEADS to my PC and then to my Video hosting page and then on to this site .It can be viewed by the sites members on THE VIDEO VAULT (A  MEMBERS ONLY PAGE---Why not join up if you are a guest viewing  this site ) --YOU NEED TO LOG IN TO VIEW) . If you have ever fancied making a video it is quite an easy thing to do as long as your camera as a big enough memory card and you can drag & drop to say Windows movie maker and then once saved to your computer you can upload to a video host I use Mydeo and then embed the HTML code to this site .You could use GOOGLE or U-TUBE ---Anyway after after spending 3-4 hours  from  traveling to making ,uploading and editing and then embedding  to Lancashire-Re-United I give you STACKSTEDS where I wer born

Please note  that due to the amount of time space that my mydeo account allows I will have to set a limit to the time this and future videos remain on the site so ALL VIDEOS FROM NOW ON will only stay on the site for 4 weeks

Therefore some older videos have been removed . I apologize if this spoils any enjoyment of this sites VIDEO VAULT. So I am off to Blackpool tonight and filming the Illuminations . I hope to do a 30 minute  film but  I will have to see what the play back quality is like before I upload it ---FINGERS CROSSED

avatar Hiyah John,
WOW what a trip down Memory Lane, I could have done with a smell in that pie shop!! Great video, very clear and the colour is really good. Didn't see anybody I knew! I note that the railings are still there on Tunstead Road leading to the Pensioner's Estate, where I used to spend ages doing gymnastics and hoping I wasn't showing too much underwear! Wonder what's going on at my old house - looks like half the inside is in the skip. That was absolutely brilliant John, and thanks so much for the dedication. MORE PLEASE, LOL - Jeni.
