Just when I thought things where begining to slow down around here things have started to get hectic let me explain. I am busy tonight firstly recovering from the shock of the bill for the monthly shop ( do we rally need that much stuff) and secondly trying to add the photos I took in OLDHAM on Saturday  to the GALLERY.

I have also received and E-Mail from REDROSE 31 of the photos he took for me a while ago of ALEXANDRA PARK in OLDHAM (one of which you see here ) this time I will get them in the correct files so I can add them to the GALLERY and an OLDHAM VIDEO .As well as doing this  DUFFYBAGS has been trying to  send me some history and facts of OLDHAM which is the sort of thing I would like MORE of the members to do -You see I feel that there are not enough interesting facts or comments about the towns of LANCASHIRE or its people and I cant be expected to know everything .  ----LIKE WHAT CHARICTERS do you remember from days gone by ---NEWSPAPER SELLERS .FLOWER SELLERS ,PEANUT SELLERS there used to be one in Barrow that played a trumpet ,   OR RAG AND BONE MEN ,ENTERTAINERS (FREDDIE STARR,FREDDIE GARRATY ETC) or maybe THEATERS ,DANCE HALLS  (TOWER BALL ROOM) AND THE FOLKS WHO FREQUENTED THEM and where  where do areas get there names (i.e THE MUMPS IN OLDHAM ) ---lets have your contributions  via e-mail to lancashirereunited@fsmail.net.

Also in a few weeks major works are taking place at our house so the PC will have to be disconnected and I honestly dont know how long these works will take ---What will I and YOU do then will have to get a LAPTOP on my Christmas wish list  ----So you see I have  lots to do and I also have videos to make for the site ----WHAT ESPECIALLY WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE AND HEAR ON LANCASHIRE RE-UNITED ----I may start off with a documentary on ACCRINGTON .
