You may recall sometime ago I posted a story of how I had posted on the BACUP TIMES website for anyone who remembered my family from our time in East Lancs in the 60s to get in touch,and how a lady called JUDITH RATCLIFF nee BOHEN for whose father my dad worked for not only became a member of this site but wrote to my parents -----Well now I have news that after 40 years JUDITH went up to my dads house in Barrow and chatted for over 2 hours about the old days etc ---So thats that mission accumplished and my dad was thrilled to bits ----THANK YOU JUDITH

It was so nice meeting John's father, Derek, again after over 40 years! Apart from his grey hair he didn't seem to have changed at all. (He was polite enough not to pass comment on my extra weight but made me a lovely ham sandwich for my lunch).
