I received an e-mail today from this Gentlemen to which I reply PLEASE dont look at the website join us .I am sure folks dont realise what is on this site until they join here is the e-mail so come on and pursade the gentlemen or anybody eles WHY they should join us .

I have just stumbled onto your site, I have been a member of Wigan world for a couple of years, and enjoy logging onto it. I am a novice with the computer, (not friendly at all) its hit and miss with me. I was born in Platt Bridge, just out of Wigan, in 1940. after service in the regular army, and 30 years in the Police (4 of them in Lancs. Consabulary) I now live in Portchester, Hampshire BUT still count Wigan as my home, HOW DO I JOIN, as I still have family and friends in the Lancashire area, and love reading about old times, and photo's of Lancs. and log on to anything about Lancashire, cheers for now.
