I have today opened an account which I mentioned in a previous post which lets me put Video onto the sites pages .So therefore I am proposing a change to the way I do YOUR towns GALLERY---Here is the first offering I made for another site which has received lots of praise on the SOUTHLAKES website indeed one lady commented it brought tears to her eyes.I have re-vamped it from the original so here it is BARROW IN FURNESS because once you have lived there you just cant get it out of your head . Look out for YOUR old town comming soon ---But what music do I add Tom Jones green green grass of HOME ---Simon & Garfunkle---Home wardbound ---Let me know by leaving your comments
Photo Gallery update ---------All still Barrow-in-Furness & Blackburn photos I have taken recently have now been added please take time to have a look and lets have some memories of any changes you see in YOUR old home town (There are now over 700 to look at )---wherever its is in the Red Rose County go to the gallery and click on my photos (John Earnshaw WM) to bring up lots of different towns . I have also noticed that JOHN LARGE has added some more to his file including a Fantastic view from Blackpool Tower .
Looking forward to seing and hearin them John, as always. I miss Lancashire, always will. I've never felt comfortable in Ontario since I came ere, it just wasn't Home and since I could never leave here cause of family being here, I do what I can to feel like I'm ome. After 40 years in Canada I'm finally "talkin" to folks who are Lancastrians, It's lovely. Thanks John, thanks to your members too.
