I went along to Southport to meet our member CHAS (pictured)and take a few PHOTOs of the town and must say what an enjoyable time I had .It was a pleasure to meet Chas and again it was so easy to talk to him about ths site and our lives and then Chas showed me around ,again I was inpressed and really do urge you to make a booking if you would like to visit the area .I am considering having a LANCASHIRE RE-UNITED weekend get together there next year if enough of you are interested .Southport as a town has improved so much since the last time I visited it many years ago so I took some photos which are now in the GALLERY ---So thats another member visited ---So whos the next on the WEBMASTER MEETS -------I know onwards to OLDHAM comming soon
You are right about Southport I had a Union Conference there earlier this year and found it to be a very clean place with a cracking small pub on the front next door to the conference centre.
