Last week I did say I would upload  some photos of ALEXANDRA PARK in OLHAM which had beensent to me by our member REDROSE 31.

Unfortunatley athough I spent many hours trying to get them to transer from the e-mail sent to me to my picture files I had to admit defeat .I have now asked Redose to resend them to me again to see if I can have another crack I also hope he will be sending me some street scenes of OLDHAM .

Members are VERY welcome to send me PHOTOs just as another of our members has as shown from this one sent in of himself by TADPOLE (E.J Clark ) ,You can also send in pics of your pets for our MEMBERS PETS PAGE and PLEASE keep sending your poems in as wel as any memories of YOUR home town or work place and old pals .As I have said on numerous occations this is YOUR site as well as mine and YOUR contributions may just spark something off in someone eles mind . No one will ever tell me I am not a lancashire lass. Born in Wigan and lived there for 35 years. I now live in Shropshire and so does my best friend who came to live here about 6 years after me. Four of my five children all regard themselves as Lancashire born the youngest being born in Shropshire. unlike my best friend who’s children all still live in Wigan with their families. When we write home we both refuse to put Greater Manchester on envelopes and still address them Wigan Lancashire. We are definately Lancashire lassess and proud of it. We both still visit often several times a year my sister and lots of family are still there. So please don’t forget Wigan when you are updating your site -----I have replyer to this as follows .

Thank you Doreen for signing the GUESTBOOK but why no surname or e-mail address .I try not to forget ANYWHERE on the site when updating it the only troble is I do this on my own so surely cant be expected to please every body all the time (although I do try ).I think we have enough folks from WIGAN now to have some one writing a peice on the town about memories of places etc .Thanks again for your posting ,but you could always join us and write sommert tha self.
