Well thats the first public holiday of the year over and back to work for me .I took some photos in RAWTENSTALL today and have added them to the Gallery including the one you see here and one of TOWNLEY HALL in Burnley .W e did and 12 mile hike around the LEEDS /LIVERPOOL CANAL the wife and I  yesterday and I must say having not walked that far along the canal you cant help but admire the folk who built it from the start to finish there are some gorgous veiws along the lenth we walked I must go further next time.I have now finally added some photos of our previous walk around the hills above HELMSHORE and have added them to that file there are some stunning veiws up there so take a look .
