hassy_bus Whilst on my travels lately I have noticed a triple  blasts from the past .In the Rossendale Valley a bus has appeared (not the one in this picture )painted in the colours of HASLINGDEN COPRARATION .I have also seen a bus in Preston painted in the colours of LANCASTER & MORECAMBE CORPARATION (GREEN & CREAM) in service between Preston and LANCASTER  and also on the X35 route between Kendal and BARROW a bus is showing the colours of the old BARROW TRANSPORT department .Could it be that transport cheifs yern for the good old days when our towns identified with there town colours on there buses in which case I am going to write to the owners of LANCASHIRE UNITED who have buses in my neck of the woods to see if they would paint a bus in the colours of the old L.U.T or in the colours of ACCINGTON CORPARITION  WATCH THIS SPACE .
