I WASNT GOING TO POST TONIGHT BUT I have been off on a tour of LANCASHIRE again today with work,I was in WIGAN this morning followed by LANCASTER and MORCAMBE again this aftenoon so I am some what shattered tonight .Whilst I was in MORCAMBE we had to take a Security device out of THE ASTRA BALLROOM which is being demolised this got me thinking of my Grandad in RAWTENSTALL who used to go to the TEA DANCES at the ASTORIA .Did you ever go to a tea dance what are your memories ,what dances did you do and what people do you remember ANOTHER TOPIC ON THE FORUM ME THINKS ) .

I would also like to say what a pleasure it was for me to see some returning members tonight MARION.P and JUDITH as  well as ARCHEE and not forgetting IRENE.I know some might say why bother but I shall be e-mailing some members who have not been on for a while as I feel it is important that if you sign up for this site you are made welcome as someone has wrote on another site I DIDNT FEEL I MET THE CRITIREA FOR THIS SITE well belive me  if you were born in LANCASHIRE YOU BELONG ON THIS SITE .The same poster on that other site said he didnt post on the Forums as he felt he was being ignored .Well please do not feel that way on this site ANYBODY .We all feel that way at times but there is usually an answer in that some one may not read that post or feel shy in replying or are just to darn tired to reply I know I am some nights SO PLEASE EVERYBODY KEEP POSTING ON THE FORUMS
