chat_room_members_only As you maybe aware we now have a MEMBERS ONLY chatroom on our site .Many members out of the 102 have yet to come on board for what ever reason ,SHYNESS,DONT KNOW WHAT TO TALK ABOUT or they have not been on the site since RE-VAMP.ETC . So to make things a little easier I suggested on our forums that maybe we pick on ---sorry  CHOOSE a member to host the CHAT ROOM  each week and have a menu of daily discussions here is what our member ART ---Ex Barrovian says

The topics idea is a good one John - really anything Lancs related would be appropriate i suppose. Could be geographical e.g. The Furness: Yesteryear and Today - as I know at least three or four of us have a history in this area of old Lancs. Other than this though not sure of exisitng focus of members origins - been waiting for anyone with a Pendlebury/ Manchester interest or a Kirkham/Freckleton one to show up on the forum - but alas, not as yet it seems. The topics could also arise naturally from discussions in the forum. Its just a matter of having an identified time when those around and interested could pop in for a chat and be likely to find at least one other member available. Would not think it fair you would necessarily have to take the lead on an every day basis - you have done and already do a great deal in leading the site development and discussions in the forum - maybe members could volunteer to play "host" to chatroom sessions and facilitate discussions, topic-based or otherwise.
