Its been a beautiful day in Lancashire today with lots of sunshine and clear blue skys .So this morning I washed the car (something which hasn’t been done for ages) and then to make the most of the day me and the wife went for a drive .Now as you will know Lancashire has some stunning views and I have now found some more .Off what we call the GRANE RD nr Blackburn is JACKSON HEIGHTS ROAD which leads to the village of EDGEWORTH nr Bolton .There are some fantastic views of Lancashire be had up there .I have lived down in this part of Lancashire for many years and it still throws up the odd surprise .Another one turned up by visiting the JUMBLES COUNTRY PARK nr TURTON(pictured) .Lots of people where out like us enjoying the strange yellow thing in the sky .We walked for miles around the reservoir as if we were up the lakes and then drove through East Lancashire to Simonstone to book a meal next weekend when we will be visited by a relation from ULVERSTON so I will update the site when I can next week and the weekend after your webmaster will be in Ulverston with my wife. It has been a perfect weekend and the next two will be just as good , see you soon .
