I remember as a child taking the train with my mother from Stacksteads to Mancashester Victoria ,this of course before Dr Beaching whelded his axe .I remember that there was a mechine at Manchester Staition that you could record your own record on in a booth .Does anyone eles remember these booths ? .I have always had a love of trians as I know other members have and long for the days of the class 40s ,50, and 47s to return and I will always know my Bo,Bo"s from My Co,Cos--------Train lovers will understand
