When we moved to East Lancashire from Barrow in Furness  some years ago my wife who is a born and bread BARROW lass was listening to a conversation taking place between to ACCRINGTON women .One lady said to the other  I WER CAMPING WI ALLISN IN BROADWAY T"OTHER DAY (Which is Accringtons main shopping street ). Now I knew what the wer sayin but my wife had to go an say it in her qute little way (where did you put your tent) .Do you know of any word that can have another meaning .Please post them on the forums
