Well what a fantastic weekend we had up in Ulverston and Barrow .After finishing work on Friday it was a case of quick wash and pack and up the M6/A590 in a time of 180 minutes before enjoying a meal with relatives before a strole into Ulverstons hostilies to sample a few pints in relaxing surrounding .The rest of the weekend was spent catching up on the changes going on around the towns and taking in the sight,smells and tastes of home (Greens Pies,).photos have been added to each towns Galleries for other ex Barrovians to enjoy , and not forgetting to spoil my wife rotten on our wedding anniversary .The above comments about catching up with changes in the two towns is what this site is all about and I hope you look at the photos of YOUR old town and remember the GOOD days you had and relive some fond memories ,of the people,places and times of your days in Lancashire .
