In the run up to Lancashire Day I have sent off some e-mails to LANCASTRIAN icons asking if they could maybe do sommert (lancky speek ) to mark the occaition .One has replyed but seems to have got the purpose of the site all wrong

It is not the intension of this site to peel back the boundaries of 1974 like a politcal campain it is to RE-UNITE the members who are from these here parts with the ever changing face of the towns they used to live in and memories of people & places .

Lancastrian CULTURE etc is part and parcel of the red rose county and should be celebrated and kept alive on such sites as this .where ever you are from in this once and still proud county you are all very welcome but ----You cant please everyone .
