My activites on the website were interupted by the need to go out for a walk into Accrington from my Oswaldtwistle home .I set off with my wife into the cold November air which does the old bones no good .Now as you may be aware this site likes to show a gallery of the changes that are happening in our Lancastrian towns . I have been back at work for only a few short weeks but here in ACCY building work is cracking on at a fair old pace. The picture you see here is of a new apartment and office/retail development on the former PLATTS (hopefully member Marionp may give us some history ) lodge site who would have thought Accrington would have lakeside apartments other devlopments mean Lancashire is throwing off the shackles of the old mill and cloth cap image and is a place we should all be proud of comming from .There are more New photos from Accrington in the gallery
