Being the mad impetious types me & my wife are we awoke to a beautiful day here in Lancashire .The sun continues to shine and it is still quite warm it seemed a shame to waste the day so we set off up the M6  to visit the LAKE DISTRICT .We visited Bowness.Ambleside & Coniston  Now I know the lakes isnt in Lancashire but I thought it would be nice to remind you of the natual beauty the LAKES  has ,you may have visited some time ago so I have added pictures of BOWNESS and CONISTON to the gallery.
