Still trying to find my way around the site, there is so much to discover! I love the photographs, but haven’t found any that strike a chord...The Manchester & Salford I knew seem to have long gone...but I would love to see if Heaton Park is the same....is the building with the lions outside the door still there? Used to be the original family home I think, then it became a cafeteria...what is it now? The parks I remember - What was the name of the park with statues on either side of the path - you came down steps from the entrance - was it Albert Park?
Now this a long with BOLTONLOCOS thoughts on the ATHERTON pics in the FORUM is just what the site is all about PLEASE keep them comming and if there is anywhere in your former home county you would like to see let me know and I will do my best to help for now though GLO click on this link to veiw Manchesters own TV channel and whatch I love Manchester ,
