Finally after a delay of a few weeks I today presented the council of the HYNDBURN BOROUGH with the ACCRINTON print  as a gift from the site .

I also gave a brief speech outlining what the site is all about and its ACCRINGTON  & DISTRICT ex pat and resident members . And also the wonderful work Wallace does all over the world and thaned him for this memories of Accringtons transport heritage  (THEY LOVE IT MATE ) .

I also gave an interveiw to the LOCAL press  which will hopefully be out this coming weekend . I now await further communications with the council ,news of which I will publish when  I receive the communication .

I Would would also like to WELCOME any member of the cabinet who may be viewing LRU for the first time --
