With the FANTASTIC responce to a website t-shirt digested I have desided to go ahead with getting some but am still undesided on weather to print some myself or get them made . The costs firms are wanting for them are silly . The design for my logo will be placed on the left hand side of the shirts (pictured) the words LANCASTRIAN & PROUD will appear under the main logo which will be a White or red POLO and will be availible in MEDIUM,LARGE AND X-LARGE and would I think work out at £7.99 each plus p&p . Well after a short break and a few days with out an ISP I am finally back online . You dont really know how hard it is to be with out something until its not there . Anyway THANKS to ROY for becoming DEPUTY WEBBY . I went to Blackpool the other day and took some NEW photos for the GALLERY and also shot a video which after editing I will adding it all to the site within the week . I would also like to welcome 3 new members to the site which include another DJ from the bee ROY MARTIN who once worked for 100.4 SMOOTH FM and then theres KATHRYN BOWER (Ex Oswaldtwistle lass) and not forgetting another former Blackpool resident CHRISTINE CARR --welcome to you all . this now takes the number of site members to 178 place your bets folks for 200 by CHRISTMAS .
Anyway webfreinds I need to go and catch up with the forums etc ---plus finishing refurbing L-RU Towers yes I am STILL at it ---its never ending but I will give you a guided tour when its done
Well, I have done it I have done my first VIDEO of ACCRINGTON .You see once I get something in my head I am off . It is only a 3 minute effort done on the spur of the moment to see if I could do it and it was taken at around 5pm .

As I made you aware in my last posting I am going to be doing a lot more videos for the site in the form of a guide to ---a small 30 minute film of LANCASHIRE towns . I will be starting with the area I live in OSWALDTWISTLE and e-mailed the leader of the local council Mr PETER BRITTCLIFE ( Pictured) to ask if he could assist me . Well I can now announce that Mr Brittcilffe has now replied and has agreed to be our guide which should make fasinating viewing and we should be out camera in hand soon but as I hope you will understand these films will take a lot of researching and planning ---wonder if the local press will take note .
Its great when people in high places can help in such a way . How many other council leaders in our towns would be prepared to give up some spare time to show the delights and history of there Lancashire towns I wonder . It would also be interesting if other local celebs could show us THERE FAVORITE PLACES and share there memories of the towns they live in so how about EJTHEDJ showing us the delights of DARWEN or maybe TED ROBBINS on The Rossendale Valley or Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley from Coronation Street) on the delights of Accrington could it happen you never know .--------Watch this space
At the moment I must say I am pleased how the number of members we have on this site is continually growing and as promised I will endeavour to make the site as good as it can be .I know I said I was going to start a COMPETITION CORNER on the site ALAS some promises that were made have not been followed up with deeds and I have spent to much time trying to sort it out so I am dropping the idea . I am concentrating my efforts on some hopefully interesting features for the site .---
I have contacted a few people to see if they could spare there time and knowledge of there towns to produce a film of there area so hopefully that will happen soon as will some star interviews which I will announce soon.
Well the first full weekend back online from your webmaster and a major requitment campain I am on results in 7 (SEVEN) NEW MEMBERS - So Welcome to MARTIN HAYES (M81162 ) along with -STUART BEECH (,beechy---) and not forgetting VICKY SMALLMANS (PLUM) , KATE NORMAN (k8norman ) and MICHELLE WOODS (MICHELLE) and our newest members from Blackburn SHAZ--(shaz) and MARYLOU WIILLIAMS (marylou) -from Wigan you are all VERY WELCOME to our LANCASHIRE family --the best way to enjoy the site is as our established members have found out is to JOIN IN the FORUMS and other interactive parts of the site ---So we now have 173 members so lets push on to increase the FAMILY to 200 which should be possible as the visitor numbers on the site have gone daft this weekend .

After a break of what seems like an eternity while carrying out house refurbs (pictured ) I am almost ready to begin updating Lancashire Re-United and am starting to work on plans to develop some video footage of our Lancashire towns with commentary . I am hoping for some help off members who live in these here parts to guide me on things that should be in the films and will also be contacting the local press and other websites as away of publicizing the site and also hoping to drum up a few more new members .
I would like to thank you all for sticking by the site whilst I have been busy of late it is much appreciated
While there will be a slight lull in happenings on the site .I thought I would just point out how much there is on this site and how future updates will be highlighted .
