So its Saturday and I didnt get my hoped for lie in .My daughter had her mates round for a sleep over and left the door to the living room open so our cat MADDIE came upstairs and duly jumped on me at 5am never mind -eh. We havent gained any more members since Tuesday but again a BIG WELCOME to our new ones .I hope you will join us in the chatroom at some point over the weekend and get to know some of us I would also remind you that on every vist to the site I would prefer it if you LOG IN so we can keep our records straight which means you will not get an annoying reminder e-mail .I am taking my camera to work with me this week as again I have been all over the county again and seen place I havent snapped yet ,So I will leave you for now and hope to see you on the FORUMS or CHAT ROOM soon----P.S I am having major problems with the LANKY & ROSE CARTOON STIP it weill be back as soon as possible .

With the fantastic increase in the number of members this site now has I have re-introduced the online site survey to the site .This helps me to decide what content should be on the site and which direction the site should go in .If you are a site member PLEASE could you take the time to go to the MEMBERS FEATURES section and complete the survey. The software only has a life of 14 days from today so I need you to help with the survey ASAP.
Well its Friday and the start of the WEEKEND on Lancashire Re-United .I am spending tonight going through the NEW content for tomorrow and also researching other stuff for the site .I must have done close to 600 miles plus dashing up and down the motorways of Lancashire again this week as we are very busy at work , so later tonight it is a glass of wine ,feet up and chill out . So seeing as it is all quite on the site and also on the CHATROOM tonight I will be back tomorrow after a good nights sleep and hopefully a lie in (as I have been getting up at 5am all week) with UPDATES ,NEWS AND ANOTHER NEW ,MEMBERS ONLY GAME

Looking at the site I see we are moving ever closer to our 100th member now that BARBARA ,MARGERET, IRENE LESLEY & RUTH (WELCOME) have joined us .I must say I didnt expect us to be at this stage so soon but it just goes to show we must be doing some thing right .
I received an e-mail tonight from member JUDITH RATCLIFFE who you may remember found me from the Bacup times website www.bacuptimes.co.uk .My dad worked for here fathers company 40 years ago and she wanted to contact my dad after all these years .Well she duly wrote to my dad and has now spoken to him again on the phone after all these years,I belive they spoke for over an hour .
Since the site --PLUS work and family take up so much of my time now I have desided that the site content (ie ) articals will be updated every SATURDAY when I can commit more time it should also give members who dont come on the site as often as others chance to catch up with the rest of us ----The Wife & Daughter work on Saturday so I am in on my own .I will however be online each night for an hour or so just to make sure things are ticking over and maybe have a chat with some one I useually have spare time around 7-30ish when the wife is engrossed in Coronation St or Eastenders .The site forums and other fabulous MEMBERS FEATURES including the NEW CHATROOM should keep you all entertained as we have enough members now to keep the site going without me and hopefully someone will have made LANCASHIRE RE-UNITED history by the weekend.
It’s a new year and as promised this is your better brighter revamped LANCASHIRE RE-UNITED .I hope you like the new design which I must thank Stu Rogers for adding to the site ..All the old features are still on the site along with the MEMBERS FEATURES and the NEW MEMBERS ONLY CHAT ROOM (Which has been road tested today with myself ,Stu & Roy in Norwich and John Large in CANADA)) I think we need to get some software to allow us to show when somebody is in the CHATROOM .This site has come a very long way in such a short time but be sure that I intend to take it a lot further yet as I constantly keep improving the site with more content than most other ex-pat websites .
