Only a few short months ago in fact last July LANCASHIRE RE-UNITED relaunched while I was still off work after a knee injury and a couple of operations .Now here we are only 8 months down the line and the website cotinues to grow and grow . We now have 121 members, the site has had 190 odd thosend hits and the content has grown to over 470 items ,500 photos ,videos ,chatroom and the forums plus the fun and games pages and I am back at work fit and well .There is still a lot more to come ,I am still working hard on the PODCAST and I hope to announce a new COMPETITION PAGE SOON with PRIZES to WIN and LOTS LOTS MORE .
THANK YOU ALL for making this site what it is and carry on posting and having fun on the forums but dont forget any item you would like to post yourself would be welcome as long as it relates to LANCASHIRE send it to me via the e-mail address that is shown on the WELCOME PAGE after you LOG IN as other members have done and I will place it on the site for you .
One change I am making to the site is updating the site on SATURDAY only as from now on as that is when I have more time to devote to the site and I am hoping too have a new job soon which means I will have to throw all my energy at that but it would mean no more travelling up and down the motorway network which would be a blessing . I will however be on the site duing the week to see things are running smootly and maybe chat to some body in the MEMBERS ONLY CHATROOM but if I dont see you then I will CATCH YOU ON SATURDAY
We continue to grow the members list on the site as SANDRA (sandy) & SIMON SMITH and also another 2 members who have not used his or her proper names which I would ask any new member to do but I would like to WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY. As with all new members I hope you will JOIN IN our forums chatroom etc
I have been pleased by the fact that a few members are returning to the site but one member comming on to the site has put a great big smile on my face .BERNARD J DEVLIN (pictured)has now come on line .I bumped into Bernard awhile ago whilst up in BARROW .I was at a loose end and Bernard recognised me and stopped for a chat .I know you will join me in welcoming Bernard onto the site but just wait until he joins in the FORUMS as I know he has many a tale to tell .And I also hope to catch-up with you again Bernard in OUR members only CHATROOM .
I keep looking from time to time to see what you are talking about in the forum pages on this site .Its great that you ALL seem to like this area of the site but things seem to be slowing down .I have noticed that from my files some of our members are not joining in but as I always say IF THERE IS NOT A TOPIC YOU WANT TO JOIN IN ON START ONE OFF but please keep them in line with the sites content (i.e LANCASHIRE STUFF).As stated on an earlier post I am a bit busy today but I will be around during the course of the day so I will have a chat if you would like to join me in the chatroom.I am still waiting also for YOUR contributions to the site be it an artical of your memories,A poem or some more of you pet pics like this scary one of our member WENDY"S two dogs LIZ & POLI

Well after all the trials and tribulaitions of MONDAY we are still here .In the FORUMS we had a post regarding HOW TO KEEP IN TOUCH basically if this site when down again or if it was lost or I packed the site in .It is great to know we have ALL made freinds on this site and that you appriciate all the work that goes into it .With this in mind let me assure you all I WILL NEVER GIVE UP on this site ,YOU my mates or any thing elese to do with this site .It is not in my nature to give in,indeed I am more determind then ever to produce THE BEST LANCASHIRE SITE I can .I do though ask for YOUR HELP .Contributions from members has dried up and as ART one of our members once posted in the forums . JOHN CANT DO IT ALL HIMSELF (WHERE IS ART ) .So I hope to see you all with some more content NEXT SATURDAY including MORE video fotage of PLACES IN LANCASHIRE including WIGAN and some of Southport as well as a tribute to LANCASHIRE LAD FRED DIBNAH as I promised AUSCHICK while in the CHATROOM on Saturday (It was a pleasure talking in text to you ) --Sunday is FAMILY DAY and WASH THE CAR now it is getting warmer and work all week . The places in LANCASHIRE section on the site is one that I admittedley have neglected UNTIL NOW that is .I do spend ages on this site trying to find content that I hope is of interest to you ALL .I have been scourering the internet and have now found VIDEOs of the main towns of LANCASHIRE which are FREE to download to the site .I shall of course be adding them to LANCASHIRE REUNITED and also ask that if you are from a town in LANCASHIRE which is featured you may remember something shown on the VIDEO and send them in VIA the contact us Button .First up is LANCASTER & there is a video of THE BRITANNIA COCONUTTERS Morris dancers on the BACUP page which is well worth a look .
