After last nights snow our part of LANCASHIRE awoke to a covering of snow.We have been very lucky with mild temperetures all winter so this morning was a shock to the system .I did get up early this morning hoping to get some snow scene pictures but it took a little longer than expected to de-ice the car (the proper way ,why do some folk still use the boiling kettle of water method )but I did manage to get this one (above ) More snow is forcast tonight so will try and get out a little earlier tomorrow .
This was the sight that we work up to in OSSY this morning HAILSTONE tapping on the windows like a knocker upper of years gone bye, but still winter useually has one last throw at us before it warms up .I was hoping to get out with the camera but being the coward I am its too cold and wet so I will do it again some time .Talking of PHOTOS ,I have now removed some files from the gallery and would ask if any members upload photos please keep the file size to a minimun amount .
