| Whats up wi the Lancashire Weather 2008/07/19 14:08 |

I wonder if those of you living outside of Lancashire have become as fed up as I have with your weather . I cannot remember the last Summer (I use the term loosely ) which had continuous days of long summer sun (sigh ) Since last year when Roy told of warm ping days it just seems to have precipitated constantly and this year PSB sends me some barbiQ stuff to make it rain more Even the Royal Lancashire show has been cancelled again . I hope its OK for Fleetwood on Sunday as everything PB have been to this summer have also been weather affected http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lancashire/7515327.stm

Our weather is lousy at the moment.
I was talking to somebody the other day who summed it up perfectly. He said: 'so which road Ah dress fer t'turn eawt, Ah allus find Ah've geet t'wrung jacket on'.

Hiya John, its not just up north it is also down in the part of Essex i went to, it rained, the sun came out, rained again, ee John! where has the summer got to you cannot sing to the kids "The Sun Has Got Its Hat On" really its not out long enough. Regards Doris

It,s ok John boy ,you,ve got a nice sunny day for Sunday,and the wind,s going to ease down a bit,but some nice rain comming again next week,roll on winter,only 159 days to Christmas,hehehehehehehe,Ken.

The only difference between summer and winter is in the amount of daylight you get.

Well, I'm sorry to say that the heating won in our house day, we were determined to resist, but were finding it too cold today, Oh well,dig out the thermals   Not bad for July is it ?????

Some days our max on these winter days have been two degrees higher than your summer days and we seem to be having a colder than usual winter. 30 years back I had nearly four years up in the tropics where 35C is a cold day, anyway I came back nesh.

We're not very popular with our friends & neighbours cos we brought the Lancashire weather back to Norfolk with us.While we were away it was warm & sunny most of the time down here.Not any more since we got back!
