Concern about missing members 2008/07/20 07:41
As you know mass e-mails are sent from this site to try and keep members up to date with whats on LRU and also to try and encourage those who join the site and also those who havent been around for some time to log in . We seem to be missing some long standing members for one reason or another and I wonder if anyone has heard of any missing member on other sites like FACE BOOK,Wigan world or Ex Lancs etc ----LINDA ,REDROSE31,EMPRESS ,GUZZUNDER,MOLLIE, Dennis D ,Glo etc have not been around for some time it would just be nice to know these members are well as I don't just look on people who join this site as members but also FRIENDS .

John, you wrote 10 lines there without one single spelling mistake - were you cheating?(Ooops, sorry wrong thread! ).
Seriously though,I've seen Empress & Mollie M on Wigan World so I know they're alive.
It may be that they're younger than most of us(I think Empress has admitted to being 40[Oh to be 40 again!]),so maybe we're a bit too old fashioned & not racy enough for them.(Though I'm still a kid at heart & refuse to grow up or grow old gracefully!)

Course it's your business Bernice, you're a friend. My family tends to go quick, nowt wrong one day, start acting strange, (not the usual demeanor of the person), and in a week or so we're kneeling before St,,,,,whatshisname upstairs and asking for entrance. Personally I'm taking boltcutters, a saw and a cutting torch There's nowt wrong with me, but there is a family history.
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to come back for a day after you die to tell folk how much you enjoyed them?
