Hi BJ, Funny you should mention In My Life...I'm seldom without a song or tune in my mind (usually several each day) and that one popped up the other day. I usually play Beatles while I decorate the Christmas tree but this year I didn't so I hadn't heard In My Life for some time. Not to worry....my brain has all these down perfectly!! LOL

Hi Snowman, that 'Food Glorious Food' is from the musical OLIVER!, one of my all time favourite shows...most of the songs on there are faves of mine. I must have seen that movie a dozen times at least!

I Love most types of music, there are however two rock songs that when played always strike a cord that I identify with . 'Baker Street' by Gerry Rafferty, when I was a young fella moving around and more into middle age is 'High Hopes' by Pink Floyd from their Division Bell album. The guitar work on that is such a cry of holding onto your hopes, its just so brilliant mixed with the bell tolling at the start and end.
