Hello Higel, i have never heard of her but there again i don't listen to to these young singers all that much, now if like Vanessa Mae a young violist, yes i would listen or Bond quartet they are young gals that play string intruments(violins and bass all electric) but without the video i might take to her some times the videos can spoil the music Regards Doris

Hi Sheelagh, one of my sons gave me a tape a couple of years back and Wingfield she was on it i have never heard of her till then, but i thought the song sounds bouncy then i found it on youtube, yesterday i found a couple of Gene Kelly dance routines from Singing in the Rain, Good Morning with Debbie Reynalls spelt wrong and Donald o' Connor film, then Slaughter on Tenth Avenue from Three little Words film with Vera Ellen i remember going to see that film with my Mam. I am staggered that this thread has run for so long.It will celebrate its first birthday on July 6th but unfortunately I won't be online to wish it Happy Birthday cos I'll still be in Lancashire. Can someone please do it for me?

We will certainly do that Roy, I'll have a meat pie to celebrate for you on the 6th!! Here's one I heard while out the other day - how melodic is this? Beautiful words.
