Thin Lizzy is great, their Boys are back in town is the Toronto Maple Leafs theme song. Lord Roy, what a hard question. I like Midnight Special by CCR,Green eyed woman by Sugarloaf, Walkin in memphis by Mark Cohen. Just a few for you, and I crank the volume when I hear them.

Did I forget Freddie?!
Most everything Freddie Mercury and Queen did I like. Those lads knew how to play music. Oh, Season of the witch by Donovan. Dear me Roy, I fear you've opened a can of worms with this thread. By the way I do that you asked for A favourite, sorry mate, no can do.

It would be interesting to know our Webmasters favourite song. Any guesses out there? Duffybags? For some reason, When I'm washin winders comes to mind, good old George Formby. No Offence John! Just pulling your leg.

Hi Roy could not get on the site yesterday morning the mouse just froze again had to log off and log on again got a new one last week, had a job to catch up with it haha, i like Music in a Jar quite catchy i like some of Queen songs too to numerous to say which one. Doris C

I don't have an all time favourite song/piece of music but have several of different types of music, my main preference is for New Orleans Jazz and my favourite there is Burgundy St. Blues played by George Lewis (Clarinet). Blues St Louis Blues played by Big bill Broonzy as a guitar solo.
Opera the Habanera from Carmen, there are other opera tunes I like but don't know their titles or which opera they come from.
Classical music In the Hall of the mountain King from the Peer Gynt suite and/ or bolero by Ravel.Pop music has to be Albatross by Fleetwood Mac.

i think the beatles were my fav, i love the song (IN MY LIFE,) maybe john might like it as its to do with old memories and how places have changed, some for ever some for better, some have gone but some remain.

Don't want to be funny,folks,but I'm afraid you're missing the point a little.The reason that Whisky In The Jar is MY song is because I'm partial to a slurp or two of the Scottish Amber Nectar.Having said that,I do like the song in its own right & it ranks among my favourite air guitar songs,along with Alright Now(Free) & Down,Down(Status Quo).
So is there a song that particularly applies to you for whatever reason?
