Don MacLean & Vincent Van Gogh 2008/12/02 10:51
I get many Power Point and similar files sent to me every day, many of them are similar and to be honest fairly average. Today I received a Power Point Presentation of Don MacLean singing 'Starry Starry Night', it is illustrated with Vincent Van Gogh's oil paintings along with the words to the song as sub-titles. The whole presentation is an absolute masterpiece, we found it very moving and enjoyed it so much. The quality of everything including the sound is superb. It is rare for me to get excited by a Power Point but this one has done it for me, if anyone would like a copy I can send it to them, permission is given to distribute it. I would need an e-mail to send it to, I cannot put it on uTube or anything else like that, I can only send the complete file. You can write to me by clicking on my Profile then selecting Menu, then Messages then Send E-mail. You'll need to include you e-mail address in the text otherwise it gets suppressed.

Has anyone who has received this had a problem with the sound? Someone is unable to hear anything at all even though the rest of their sound system works. I did not have any problems.

Thanks Syd, I tried it with Power Point and Open Office, both worked for me.

Tom, I am a great fan of Annie Lennox, I even took some money out of my own wallet once and bought a DVD of hers, not often that I do that, if I like something I wait 3-6 months and if I still like it I'll buy it. Unfortunately uTube seem to have removed access to all her music, for Australia anyway.

Yep, you can put me down as a fan of Annie Lennox. I like her because she 'dares to be different', puts a lot of emotion into everything she sings.

Great clip Evo.
