I got a shock at work today ,,heeheehee. Seems the new dispatcher has a crush on me, She even went to the trouble of arranging a non existant pickup of goods, just so she could get me in ""Hotel"" district ,,( sorry, can't stop chuckling). She'd arranged a room for "Us", Hahaha. I don't even know this woman, mind you when she wears her wee cow girl outfit, All eyes are watching her walk away, so I do know something about her. Folk really have to know me better than they think they do. I let her down so easily she hardly knew her very nice bum touched earth. Tell you what though, it was a day I'll not soon forget. Phil.

Don't think I've ever had such luck but if I did I probably wouldn't notice until it is too late, I'm dumb on things like that.

I'm a bit thick on these happening too Nigel, but this one was in my face. She's thirty three and a lovely lass, but no thoughts of any kind crossed my mind with the girl. I did set a record today with having the worst calls on a manifest Ever with Mainliner Freightways today though. So I guess her bum did hurt a wee bit when it landed. I hope she gets over it real quick, or we're gonna fall out. I was married for a lot of years before I lost my wife, if and when I think I'm ready to start another relationship, it will be my decision based on respect and fondness, not a trick. Not a good way to start anything. Be well mate, and thanks for replying. Phil.

I have never had anything get so far but about 1970 I was working in an insurance office doing modifications to the central heating system, there was a girl younger than I was, I was about 30 at the time, she worked behind the counter where the public came in for whatever, she was very nice and friendly we only spoke in passing or if I needed information about if an area was available for me. I went back in one day after my lunch she was still nice but a bit different I didn't think anything of it, and she passed on a message from elaine. When I got home Elaine told me what had happened, she phoned the office and asked, "Is the fitter there from Herries?" jJock Herries was the boss of the firm I worked for.girl in office, "Do you mean tha tall sexy looking one with the moustache? Elaine, "Yes thats him" girl, "Sorry he's out to lunch can I take a messge?" Elaine, "Yes tell him his wife called and will he bring ???? home after work" Profuse apologies from the girl, Elaine wasn't upset and told her so, and I was flattered of course, but it wasn't quite the same after that phone call. The nearest I ever got to anything even close to that was in primary school. A girl in the year before me, her brother was a friend of mine, was always wanting to talk to me and giving me sweets along with plenty of smiles and generally very nice. I think I was 9, she was 8, I hadn't a clue until I thought about it several years later by which time I still hadn't a clue with girls.

Phil, no backing down now, you told me, no you PROMISED me you had the Winning Ticket.
Man, I have gone crazy with my Credit Card doing some early Christmas shopping on the strength of half of the winnings.
You're not telling me now that it's just a 'maybe'??
Hell, if your numbers don't come up, I'll be paying off my bill for the next 19 years.
Had any good tips on the horses lately??

You are not off the hook yet Phil. I'm waaaaaiting.
In the meantime - just in the off chance, just the slightest chance that you don't have the winning ticket. I am looking thro' the Weekend paper at jobs. Errrm think I might need a third one to pay off that Credit Card.
It was fun spending it though.

Aaah Phil, you wouldn't have been a car salesman in a former life by any chance would you??
First you tell me we are going to be millionaires on 3rd December, now you are telling me we have to wait until the 18th to get the official announcement???
Just as well you have got such an honest face. Alright then, I'll be patient and wait til the 18th, what's a few days to wait for your first few million eh??
Just means I'll have all those zeros at the end of my bank balance for just a little bit longer.
Cheers Phil (Gee this French Champagne is expensive PHil)
