Dad has just been showing me how to upload the photos we took yesterday in Ormskirk . He has ask me to ask if anyone knows the story of this building and the significance of the ship

I will upload some pics tomorrow --been in Leeds all day looking around the Uni so am a bit tired

Hi John's girl.

Originally the building was a pub called The Ship.

Before Clarks took it over, it was Ablett's shoeshop for years.

I've been told that they were built like that because the original building plots were reduced by the railway coming through (don't know how true that is though).

That's a weird looking building, residents must all have been animal lovers tho cause in that place you really couldn't swing cat around by it's tail, could ya?
