Oh Lord. I (think) I know your rant's not about me John, but you did nudge my memory, and thankyou for that. I didn't take a pic with me wearing my L.R.U. shirt,, ( glad You came up with L.R.U. a heck of a lot less typing). Another pic of me, oh goody.
Phil.

That sort of thing really irritates me and I used to irritate others at meeting asking what they meant. One that really annoyed me was "at this moment in time", I asked what it meant, the speaker said "now" so I said "so why not say NOW", he said because "at this moment in time is more precise", I could hear many sniggering at his reply.

Nigel,I started a thread early last year(which has probably disappeared long ago) about annoying sayings & 'at this moment in time' was at the top of my list along with 'think outside the box' & 'at the end of the day'.
John, you may regret starting this Rant Box - Remember,I once said I was the original Grumpy Old Man! There'll be plenty of contributions from me in this one!

People who borrow things and don't give them back so you have to ask for them again, and again.... after that they don't need to bother asking me for anything - they don't get it!! Just think it's so RUDE
